Do you KNOW what you want to achieve?

A lot of people live everyday not knowing where they’re going in life. They’re okay with the 40/40/40 life because it’s what’s expected of them. To me, that’s a dull way to live. You only get one shot to live your dreams. Make the most of it and do what makes you happy! Here are three ways to get you started towards finding what you want and achieving your success.

Be Selfish Without Regret

How will you ever find your success if you’re always living for other people? You must worry about you and your future. Ask yourself: If I continue doing what I’m doing today for the next five years, where will I be? If you don’t take the time for you, no one else will.

Don’t feel bad about being selfish. Regretting your decisions in life only lead to more stress and procrastination. It’s your life. DO YOU!! If you constantly regret a decision you’ve made either past or present, you can never move forward. Live everyday as if it’s your last. Pursue and Persist

Figure Out Your Why

Take the time to sit down and figure out what gives you the most joy and what brings you the most pain. Figure out what you really need in your life. Is it your family? Is it a better education? More money? Companionship? Drill down exactly what you desire most and go for it. Maybe traveling, or being at home when your children get home from school, or owning a home/business. On the other side, is your boss stressing you out? Is there more month than money? Is your job title enough for you to be proud of? Pinpoint to the detail the good and the not so great and figure out how you can fix it.

Let The Closest People To You Know About Your Goal

Allow that person who you see as an accountability partner, or a best friend, or your coach/leader know exactly where you want to go in life. Having that accountability will inspire you to do more. To achieve more because not only do you want to ensure your success, you don’t want to let that person down. The one who believe’s in you more that you can believe in yourself at times.

Stay positive! Never allow one bad day to dictate the rest of your future or throw you off your path to greatness. Put into your daily schedule times to listen to motivational CD’s or read a book. Write in your journal the three things your most grateful for that day and keep a positive mental attitude about your future.

You only get ONE SHOT at this. So “make the rest of your life, the best of your life”
